Won't the light keep my child awake?

No. Bright, fast, color-changing lights are what overstimulate — this does the opposite. The projection is soft, still and warm-toned, closer to a nightlight than a screen. It gives a tired brain one calm thing to settle on instead of scanning a dark room for something to focus on.

Is this basically a screen?
